YSCP follows all teacher-certification guidelines for charter schools as mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. In addition, we have specialty teachers for music, art, physical education/health, character education, technology, Spanish, and Chinese. Middle school students (6th grade through 8th grade) have core-subject teachers for math, science, social studies, and language arts, as well as teachers for electives and the other specialty areas. We also employ an ESL teacher, special education teachers, guidance counselor, and a part-time school nurse. If needed, health professionals in OT, PT, and Speech Therapy are available.
